Often times we wonder why things happen the way they happen in our lives. Why do certain people come in and stay and others leave? Why do we find our selves in the middle so often, between that which we know to be true and that which is comfortable for us? Where is that line that we can so quickly and easily cross –my will over His? Should it not be so among the children of the Most High? Who can say with mere words the infinite wonders of His plans? They stretch as far as the eye can see...and then even further. His thoughts are incomprehensible, great and mighty- and yet we question them as if to say “but God, do you really know what you’re doing?” He knows the beginning from the end. Everything that can be, He has already seen. Who are we to question His goodness, His faithfulness, and His sovereignty? If He has placed dreams and passions inside of us, will He not be faithful to give us everything we need to fulfill those dreams and live out those passions? In His perfect time? So often I believe it comes down to one thing: Do we really believe Jesus is who He says He is? Do we really believe that what He has promised us is ours, at any moment? If we truly believed this should not our lives reflect that which we claim has so radically changed us and shaped us into the very people we are today? Where are those who are called up and called out? Where are those warriors in His body who will stand for righteousness at all cost? This is not a moral lifestyle we live by in order to gain abundance in every scope of the human experience. The God nature is exactly that, God nature. Totally opposite of human nature. God nature invades. God nature pushes and cleans out. God nature doesn’t manifest alongside human nature but throughout human nature, altering its very core. God nature has to infiltrate human nature, changing and transforming it to be able to move and have it’s very being within the Light. To live. It is a continual practice, not a momentary encounter. Redemption, salvation, transformation, justification, sanctification, transfiguration, these are all progressively active realities in the life of a true believer. Realities that bear fruit, evidence of the Life, the God nature overtaking one’s whole being. Constant. True. Are we truly living the difference?
"I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]." ~Romans 12:1, 2 AMP
